The dream that materialized
May 25th, Attarturk Stadium, Istanbul.
The greatest comeback of all European final match happened in this arena. Great for me as it was my beloved Liverpool Football Club who managed to wrestle the title from the grasp of AC Milan. 3-0 down at half time, and everyone else should think they are dead and buried. Straight away. Even my big dream dashed at the moment Crespo his second of the night. I admit I just want to watch the second hald just to witness the players received their runners-up medal.. Who would believe Liverpool defied the odds after half time? Three goals in the space of 6 minutes proved that impossible is nothing. Great saves from Dudek in the extra time only made things even destined for Liverpool, and his heroics in the pens shoot-out have now written in the legend folklore. Everyone deserved their own praise, after such wonderful characteristics. I'm proud to be one of the supporters of this historical club. You'll Never Walk Alone.

Summary
Job:
Quite a long time since I posted about my current job. Maybe because I have had this sense of tiredness lately. My responsibility have been increased and sometimes I did have this feeling of give-up and boredness; but I need to survive, then who doesn't? But, at the end of the day, I can say that I've really fallen in love with my current tasks. I'll just do them in my best shot. Ever. BTW, they're good for my experience-edge wise. Hopefully.
Footie
Tomorrow will be the BIGGEST match of my Liverpool-supporting days. I've never experienced the European Cup final supporting Liverpool, apart from that UEFA Cup final 2001. That wasn't as big as this one. The fact is that, I started supporting this club back in 1992, and everyone's know when was the last time Liverpool reached European Cup final. I was only 3 back at that time. By the way, Rangers have just clinched their 51st Socttish title in the most dramatic finale ever. 2 minutes, and they got what they actually deserved all season. Most of European leagues were over and most of the champions have been confirmed. 3 of my favourite teams are champion this term; PSV, Bayern and Rangers. Good one.
Akademi Fantasia 3
Erm...the season will begin soon, with the Prelude Concert have been aired last weekend. The show have hit a controversy already with many fans asked for a fairer selection. I guess one contestant, who they called Mawi is a former qari(???) and became everyone's favourite, but unfortunately did not manage to get through to the academy phase. Well, the show is all about controversy rite? I am not the biggest fan of this mellow-'drama' show, but my interest is all more towards persona-factor of AF. Well, if you left your train, the previos alumni of AF have done impressively so far with Vince and Khai did a good job post-AF. AF2 produced new choices for ppl as Zahid produced a good album, Adam will come out good with his soon KRU collaboration album and Farah is shining too at the moment. After all, it's not a big deal to follow this show as long as you know the limit. Think.
Me and controversy
I just didn't understand the current oohs and aahs of this Star Wars movie. Sorry people but I think they're such a waste of time. Haha...I knew the movie was good..when I was kid. That Harrison Ford era. I do think this George Lucas has lost his touch ever since. I hate the first 2 chapters of this movie and don;t even bother to think about the final saga or what the called it. What-so-ever. Another movie that I think was overrated and I have kept this feeling to complain was Sepet. The director sucks.I meant what I said. Come on lah you so-called brainy type of people, it's not good to pour cherosene on the burning fire again. I was just angry because the movie was so racist, again, I meant it. Very. You have wasted my 10 bucks and hopefully, if you are sincere enough, please give it to me, Yasmin (or Jasman) Ahmad. I hope you are a real lady. Haha.
Others
I just bought my own TV set. That maybe was the best thing I've ever bought so far. Hehe. Erm..my feelings are varied right now. Maybe because of loneliness..or whatever it is. Enough.

Gerhana CSKA Moskow...not
I managed to watch the 2nd part of the game. How brilliant CSKA regiments torn apart the Sporting's defense. Poor that Ricardo. Lost on own turf for 2nd consecutive year. (Remember Euro 2004? Then, it was Greece 1 Portugal 0). By the way, I like Vagner Love style of playing. He's amazing! Hail the champion of UEFA Cup 2005: CSKA Moskow. (at least Roman Abramovich won in Europe! haha..)
p/s big match is coming next week. Pls take note. Thanks.

Peribahasa melayu
"Baling batu sembunyi tangan"
"Untung sabut timbul, untung batu tenggelam"
"Yang dikejar tak dapat, yang dikendong keciciran"
"Tak tahu menari dikatakan lantai jongkang jongkit"
"Tak ubah bagai anjing dengan bayang bayang"
"Ukur baju di badan sendiri"
"Beraja di mata, bersultan di hati"
Kenapa aku suka gunakan peribahasa Melayu? Jawapannya mudah, peribahasa Melayu penuh dengan sinis dan makna yang mendalam, malahan mudah untuk menerangkan keadaan keadaan tertentu yang mungkin kita sedang hadapi. Bahasa kita memang indah!

Good movie
KINGDOM OF HEAVEN
After almost half a year, this is the best movie that I watched in cinema. Yes, I love every single minute of the movie for its convincing fact-based storyline and for the strong characters in Balian and Saladin.
Quote:
Balian of Ibelin: What is Jerusalem worth?
Saladin: Nothing... Everything

Selangor 4 Melaka 0
What's the significant of this post to me? Nah..not too much but this was the first local league match that I attend this season that not involving Johor FC. There's no specific reason why I chose this match...maybe because it was purely because of my boredom, I want to watch Bambang Pamungkas play and I think loads of goals should be scored last night. There wasn't many...only four to exact, as the Red Giants were not playing to their true tempo. No, I am not a Selangor fan at all, in fact I am one of their haters. :"> The match was slow in pace at the beginning, just saw a glimpse of genuine class from Bepe (Bambang), his compatriot Ellie Aiboy and good workrate of national midfielder Shukor Adan. After half an hour, the floodgates opened as Bepe flicked on good free kick from D Surendran. Before half time ended, Bepe did a magnificient run in from fabuluous Shukor's through ball, beating the poor Melaka keeper and just slot into the empty net. Second half started brilliantly for Selangor, after 20 seconds a mistake by Melaka's sloppy defense allow 'silly' goal from Nazzab Hidzan as he just connected the deflected ball to the net. 5 minutes later, the our own 'magazine footie heart throb' KJ (Khalid Jamlus) scored with his trademark (no goalkeeper). Haha..I didn't blame him as he arrived at the right time and at the right place. It was 4-0 and that was it. Nothing much happened after that only that I realized how poor Melaka player were. Their forwards were utterly disgrace as they wasted so many chances. Pity that team. Ah, good things about that match were: A chick sat in front of me...gorgeous one, managed to shake hands with KJ, Bepe, Datuk Satim Diman (Selangor manager) and Tharmini Saiban(national defender) after the match, and got a new friend from Subang, Eddie. That's all.
